Day 1: go to Amboseli National Park from Nairobi

Your safari begins in Nairobi town; on the first day, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel, where you will meet your safari driver and receive an orientation before starting your journey to Amboseli National Park. It takes around 5 to 6 hours to travel 160 kilometers from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park. After arriving in the park in the afternoon for lunch, you will go on an afternoon wildlife drive. During the game drive, the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro will greet you, and as you travel through the park’s savannah grassland areas, you will see a variety of animals, including lions, buffaloes, and elephants. You will drive back to your lodge after the game drive, have dinner, and spend the night there.



Day 2: spend the entire day at Amboseli National Park

You spend a full day at Amboseli National Park on this second safari day. The park is a breathtaking location with a wide range of animals, with a large population of elephants serving as the area’s hallmark. You will get up early to have breakfast before making your way to the park for a game drive. While on the game drive, you will get to see a variety of species, including zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and elephants in large groups, all against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Following the early game drive, you will make your way back to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation before making your way back to the park for another game drive in the afternoon. You can remain and take in the stunning sunset while on the game drive, where you will spot creatures that you missed in the morning. After supper, you will make your way back to the lodge and spend the night there.

Day 3: go to Lake Nakuru National Park from Amboseli National Park
The third day of the safari will start with an early breakfast and a morning game drive as you leave the park to head to Lake Nakuru National Park. It takes about seven or eight hours to travel the 410 kilometers from Amboseli National Park to Lake Nakuru. During the journey, you will stop for lunch and to take stunning photos at the Rift Valley View Point. You will arrive in Lake Nakuru National Park late in the afternoon for an afternoon wildlife drive. During the drive, you will see zebras, giraffes, and many other lovely species in addition to stunning views of the lake full with pink-colored flamingos. You will drive back to your lodge after the game drive, have supper, and spend the night there.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park

On the fourth day of your safari, you will check out of your accommodation and get up early for a morning game drive in the plains of Lake Nakuru National Park. You will see many of the creatures that you must have missed on your drive in the previous afternoon as you drive around the park. After the drive, you will leave the park and travel to Masai Mara National Park. After traveling 275 kilometers and spending six to seven hours driving, you will arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch, you will relax before embarking on an afternoon game drive. You will see a variety of creatures during the game drive, including lions, elephants, zebras, and wildebeest. You will drive to your lodge, have dinner, and spend the night there following the game drive.

Full day at Masai Mara National Reserve on Day 5

You enjoy a full day in the Masai Mara National Reserve on the fifth day. You begin your day early with breakfast and head back to the park for an early morning game drive. As you drive across the park’s plains, you can see a variety of creatures that are all still in one place, including lions, topi, antelope, cheetahs, common zebras, Coke’s hartebeests, and many more. Almost a million wildebeests can be easily recognized in the Masai Mara National Park, especially during the Great Migration, which is one of the most breathtaking spectacles in the world.
Because you have a full day in the Masai Mara National Reserve, you will have lunch after the morning’s game drive, relax, and then go on a hot air balloon safari in the afternoon. A hot air balloon safari gives you bird’s-eye views of the park. You will travel back to your resort after the safari, have dinner, and spend the night there.

Day 6: whole day spent in the Masai Mara National Reserve

You will enjoy a full day in the Masai Mara National Reserve on this sixth day. You will drive to the park for an early morning game drive after waking up early for breakfast. The Mara River and the riverine woods that line its banks provide a serene setting for the Masai Mara National Reserve. During a game drive, you may see a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and many more. Following the game drive, you relax for a little while, eat lunch at your lodge, and then, for an additional charge, you may either take part in another game drive or go to the Masai village in the afternoon. When you visit the Masai community, you will experience the real African culture with all of its rules, traditions, and customs. You will also be greeted with beautiful music and dancing and be able to observe the nomadic way of life that these people lead. You will drive back to your lodge after the activity, have dinner, and spend the night there.

Day 7: return trip to Nairobi from Masai Mara

On the final day of your safari, you have to get up early for breakfast before driving to the park for an early game drive. This means that you will be checking out of the lodge simultaneously with the game drive. After the game drive, you leave the park and proceed toward Nairobi. During the early morning game drive, you will see wildlife that you missed during the other game drives. The drive from the Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi is 307 kilometers, taking around 6-7 hours. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon for lunch, and then your safari will come to an end when you are dropped off at the airport or at your hotel.
